Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Herbert Eugene Adams, 62, of Bainbridge, Ga., died Tuesday.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bainbridge, with burial at Roselawn Memory Gardens. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home in Bainbridge (912-246-0099), with a wake following.
A native of Elmore County, Ala., he was a retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force and Texas Air National Guard. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Adams of Bainbridge; five sons, M. David Adams of Arlington, Texas, Herbert E. Adams of Fort Worth, Texas, Robert B. Adams of Karnes City, Texas, and Kenneth W. Adams and John Harland Adams, both of Bainbridge; a daughter, Jeanne Davis of Dallas; his father, E. Harland Adams of Bainbridge; a brother, Harold Brown of Sugar Valley, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
