William Morrison Bayman


BAYMAN, WILLIAM M. "Bill" 74 of Dallas, was born April 22, 1930 in Piqua, Ohio and passed away November 23, 2004. Bill attended Miami University of Ohio and received his undergraduate and law degrees from S.M.U. For 40 years, he was engaged in the practice of law in the Dallas area.

Before attending law school, Bill served in the US Air Force as a Navigator bombardier in the Korean War, then as a pilot flying the F86D and the F102 in the Air Defense Command. He then served in the Air Force Reserve as well as the Texas Air National Guard retiring with the rank of Major. He was an active member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association, the Sabre Jet Pilots Association and Royal Haven Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances V. Bayman; sons, William H. "Hal" Bayman, James M. Bayman and wife Miriam Stark, Thomas C. Bayman and wife Athena, Michael A. Bayman; five grandchildren, Nova Sanchez, Catherine Bayman, Maxwell Bayman, Skylar Bayman and Aleana "Mei Mei" Bayman; sister, Charlene Houser; several nieces and nephews and mother-in-law, Lillian Jones. Preceded in death by his parents, William Crawford and Bertha Belle Bayman; brother, Thomas Bayman and two sisters, Gladys Fox and Florence Henry.

Services will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Interment to follow at 1:00 p.m., at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro, Texas.
