HIRAM, GA -- Mr. Albert Francis Brooks, age 66, of 86 Cathy Lane, formerly of Roxboro, died Friday morning in VA Medical Center of Atlanta following an extended illness.
Mr. Brooks was a native of Person County, son of the late Floyd T. and Elizabeth P. Brooks and was a US Air Force veteran. He was a retired paint contractor.
Memorials services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2000 in Bellamy Funeral Home Chapel in Hiram, Ga.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Joanne Brooks Brooks, of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Debbie B. Latham and Mrs. Donna B. Lance both of Marietta, Ga., three grandchildren, Alisha Zimmerman, Raina and Austin Lance, four sisters, Mrs. Ruby B. Thomas, Mrs. Eunice B. Clayton, Mrs. Janet B. Davis, and Mrs. Hazel B. Strickland, all of Roxboro.
The family will receive friends at the home, at 88 Cathy Lane, Hiram, Ga. Local arrangements by Strickland Funeral Home.
