RUDOLPH FRANCIS "BILL" BUTTS, 77, of Lantana, passed away Monday, March 13, 2006, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1968 with 22 years of service. He then was employed by the Lantana Boat Yard as a Pilot.
Mr. Butts is survived by his loving children, Faye B. Woodard, Susan C. Butts, Janet A. Coles, Karen G. Butts, and Kevin E. O'Connell; sister, Gwen Joyner; three grandsons, Rev. Rodney Holloman, Mark A. Holloman, and Joseph K. Coles; and four great-grandchildren, Ariel Holloman, Allison Holloman, Carissa Holloman, and Riley Holloman.
Friends will be received from 4-6 PM Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Avenue. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Funeral Home followed by burial in Boynton Beach Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation in Mr. Butt's memory.
