WAYNE CANSLER


MOUNT OLIVE --- Wayne Elvin Cansler, 61, of 205 North Southerland St., died Monday at his home.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Cansler was a native of Kentucky and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed with IMPulse in Mount Olive and was a member of the Mount Olive Masonic Lodge No. 208, A.F.&A.M.

His wife, Annie Laurie Martin Cansler, preceded him in death on May 19, 2003, and he is survived by their children, David Wayne Cansler and his wife, Lynette, of Florida, Patrick Martin Cansler and his wife, Debbie, of Mount Olive, Laurie C. Edwards and her husband, Vance, of Mount Olive, and Rita Lea Lee of Mount Olive; a sister, Rita C. Hilton of Kentucky; and twelve grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital. (Pd)
