FOUNTAIN --- Mr. Claude Leslie Carr, 69, of 9415 Acre View Road died Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the United States Air Force following 22 years of service. He was a member of Webbs Chapel Church.
Mr. Carr is survived by his wife, Ruby Langley Carr of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Carr of Cary and Michelle Wyatt and husband, Ray, of Lexington; one son, Timothy C. Carr and wife, Natsu, of Welcome; one brother, Cecil Carr and wife, Kathleen, of Farmville; brother-in-law and wife, E.G. "Buddy" and Clara Langley of Fountain; five grandchildren, Nicole Carr, Amanda Carr, Travis Carr, Audrey Wyatt and Olivia Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 7 p.m. from the Church Street Chapel of the Farmville Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Boone. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain with full military honors.
