MARION, Texas - Donald L. (Don) Huggins, 75, of Marion, Texas, passed away on Nov. 15, 2010. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Espie Huggins; and his brother, Hugh E. Huggins. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan L. Huggins of Marion, Texas; children, Donna Rae Madderra and husband, Kenneth, of Modesto, Calif., Ms. Debbie Corella of Mesa, Ariz., and Denise Allen and husband, Tim, of Gilbert, Ariz.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Don was a small business owner and a veteran of the Air Force. He was a mason and a postal service employee. Don was a member of Randolph and Ocean Springs Masonic Lodges and a member of National Skeet Shooting Association. He enjoyed skeet and trap shooting, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and dog training.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
