JAMES FREDERICK MARTIN, 82, of Kane'ohe, died June 16, 2005. Born in Deming, N.M. U.S. Air Force pilot who served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam, retiring as a colonel. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; son, Robert; daughter, Nancy Cherrington; stepchildren, Diana Hallenbeck, David Gentry, Michelle Gentry Hagan and Nathasha Gentry Heath; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

Committal service 11 a.m. Monday at Hawai'i State Veterans Cemetery.

James Frederick Martin, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired U.S. Air Force pilot and colonel who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Deming, N.M. He is survived by wife Elizabeth Ann; son Robert F.; daughter Nancy M. Cherrington; stepchildren Diana Hallenbeck, David Gentry, Michelle G. Hagan and Natasha G. Heath; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Committal services: 11 a.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. No flowers. Donations suggested to Salvation Army.
