Harvey D. Raden


Harvey D. Raden, 65, of Hot Springs died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at a local hospital.

Born April 22, 1930 in Detroit, he was a retired Staff Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, Methodist, and three times past governor and past district 12 president of Moose Lodge 1036 of Lompoc, Calif.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge 75 of Reno, Nev., the Al Mileka Shrine Club of Los Angeles, and the Lompoc Shrine Clowns.

Survivors include his wife, Josie Raden of Hot Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Katherine Raden of Hot Springs; two daughters, Phoebe and her husband Ed Rehr of California and Nancy Plumice of California; three brothers, Mervin Raden, Ronald Raden, and Kevin Raden, all of Michigan; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 2p.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes Hoover officiating.

Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be David Hoover, Jim Johnson, Les Rupp, and Gordon Brunger.

Honorary pallbearers are Lewis Furr, Dr. P. K. Reddy & staff, and the oncology staff for St. Joseph's Regional Health Center.
