Miami-Dade Fire Capt. Arthur A. Ribel fulfilled a longtime passion when he got his motorcycle license two months ago and drove Tuesday to Bike Week in Daytona Beach. But on Wednesday, when Ribel took a bike for a test drive, the accelerator stuck and the motorcycle bolted out of control into an intersection, said his son David, 29. Ribel was ejected into the path of another motorcycle, which struck him. Ribel died from his injuries. He was 55. ``He always wanted a bike and had a passion... " 409 words
