LELAND -- Spencer Roberson Jr., 59, of 118 Nevassa Road died Monday in New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Calvary AME Church by the Rev. Orea Jones-Wells. Burial will at 1 p.m. Saturday in Willoughby Memorial Gardens in Scotland Neck. Arrangements are being handled by Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
Mr. Roberson is survived by his former wife, Louise Phillips of Lake Waccamaw; two daughters, Barbara Gore and Anita Roberson, both of Lake Waccamaw; a son, Spencer Roberson III of Lake Waccamaw; his mother, Rebecca Robinson of Tarboro; and a sister, Sara Porter of Brooklyn, N.Y.
