BUNNLEVEL, NC -- Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Edgar Southard, 73, of Bunnlevel, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
Mr. Southard was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lake.
Mr. Southard is survived by his wife, Mary L. Southard of the home; a daughter, Deborah Deschand of Tampa, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Debbie Mastalski of Lacy, Wash., Dede McMillan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lori Roeleveld of Hopewell, Va.; two sisters, Margie Adams of Pineville, W.Va., and Wilma Christiano of Washington; two brothers, Eckle Southard Jr. of Coal Mountain, W.Va., and Ray E. Southard of Dallas; a granddaughter; eight stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from to 6 to 8 at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
