William B. Vance, 77, of Mayfield, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired foreman with Continental General Tire; attended the First Christian Church; was an Air Force veteran and served during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Vance is survived by his wife, Jessie Vance; one daughter, Debra Vance Moffitt of Kevil; and one brother, Arie Vance Jr. of Corinth, Miss. His parents were Arie and Sadie Dowdy Vance.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Tom Wright officiating.
