Since this photo was taken, Banu hasn't put her suitcases away. She has reached the top of the touring circuit, playing even in classical venues (marble halls). She tours America and Europe. She seems to record once every 2 years to 18 months. The latest being Steppin' Out. Also available are Vintage Banu, Let Yourself Go, Livin' In A Great Big Way, and You Don't Know My Mind. The days of fronting her own jazz band full time and holding out in the French Quarter seem to be past.
