The most successful of the ragtime vocalists and rightly so. Max Morath did more to re-create ragtime than anyone. He toured the best theaters in the country with several one-man shows that focused on ragtime and its time period. Max was widely considered to be the best ragtime player in the country for many years...and his numerous recordings certainly support that view.
