Taken in St. Louis. John can usually be found somewhere in the St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Chicago triangle. His best work to my mind was with Frank Powers in the recreation of the Jimmy Noone-Joe Poston band, known as Chicago Rhythm. John has recent CDs with Ted des Plantes's Washboard Wizards and Mike Bezin's West End Jazz Band.
