PRAIRIE CHAPEL Cemetery
Washington Township, Section 48 (NW quarter). From Sedalia: South on 65 to 52. West on 52 six miles to section road. South on section road one mile to junction with Elm Branch road...turn east, cemetery on south side of road in the copse of woods.
Cemetery is unattended and long abandoned. Seriously damaged by the elements and fallen trees. Last known burial 1929.
Cleared, markers righted, and recorded by Mr. & Mrs. J. C. & Carol Mahnken of Green Ridge, MO, on 5 weekends in January & February of 2006. A difficult job as it was badly overgrown.
