PEMBERTON/RABOURN Cemetery![]() Elk Fork Township, Section 3. West on 50 Hwy 8 1/2 miles to 127. South on 127, 6 miles to Y. West on Y, 1.6 miles. Cemetery is on north side of Y, back about 20 yards from the road. If you approach it from the east you'll miss the driveway. Fenced (posts rotting), but maintained on rare occasions...needs complete clearing except for the grandfather trees. The county should close this to burials...which are occurring on a 'find a space' basis. You would have to say that the grave plat is irregular. Newest marker date at the time Mrs. J. R. Carter made her recording was 1954. Update appended on September 19, 2003, by Rhonda Mefford with our thanks for her efforts. The readings below are a result of a combination of Mrs. Carter's work, the expanded list compiled by Rhoda Mefford, and my own readings taken Apr 24 & June 3, 2004. Mine have surnames in upper case, the others in lower. Its a fairly accurate representation of whats there. GCW ![]()
